Woman Allegedly Threatens to Kill Hospital Officers
Woman arrested at Le Bonheur hospital, accused of making threats
A woman was arrested at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital on Monday after allegedly claiming to have a gun and threatening to kill security officers.
Police responded to the hospital shortly after 3 p.m., when security officers had already detained Tiera Phillips, 26. They told police a patient informed hospital staff that Phillips said she had a gun and was going to kill people inside Le Bonheur, according to a police affidavit.
After security officers located her, according to the affidavit, she became hostile and said she was an FBI agent. Security guards reported she threatened to kill them and said, “You can’t keep me away from my son,” according to the affidavit.
She was detained after being asked to leave several times. Phillips was charged with assault causing bodily harm. Her bond was set at $250.
An injury to the woman’s forehead occurred before the confrontation, the guards reportedly told police.
