Government departments and agencies are under increased pressure to perform at high efficiency and at an increasing level of transparency, yet this is often not possible due to industry restraints. Nearly 25% of departments report outsourcing all or part of their compliance and risk assessment functionality, typically as a result of time and budget limits. In addition, 73% of government employees report not being actively engaged in their jobs!
We developed government-specific content to meet these needs. Using RiskWatch software, you can replace subjective analysis with objective criteria in a defined and structured process that promotes tracking improvement over time. This enables clarity and transparency with risk and compliance scores. Software automation reduces effort spent and allows in-house employees to be engaged and present in risk management and compliance.
You can tell RiskWatch has experience and expertise in risk management by looking at how SecureWatch is put together. The system combines ERM and compliance in a way both can be performed at the most efficient way possible. Its automation combines well with the maturity of data available in most of our assessment programs.

In 2018, the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General found several violations in the U.S. Navy’s security systems for its hospitals. The violations could result in monetary fines of up to $1.5 million each year. Violations were cited as ineffective administrative, technical, and physical security protocols. These included the need to configure EHRs to lock after periods of inactivity and failure to have passwords meet DoD length/complexity requirements. For more information, click here.
